Thoughts on my playing
- Keep arms still until you have to hit when doing a Turn.
- Make arms instantly go straight upwards when doing Turn.
- Stretch arms out more
- arms too slow during Toshi, especially last one swinging upwards, keep it slower when above your head
- pose with arms completely out
- hands steady when doing Umi no hojo pose
- Arms up is good
- More lower body movement?
Fred’s playing is amazing because:
- Fast Arm movements while having control when you stop
- Legs move a lot
- Impact of drums is very strong choregraphically by how he pauses
- Toshi
