Thoughts on my playing

  • Keep arms still until you have to hit when doing a Turn.
  • Make arms instantly go straight upwards when doing Turn.
  • Stretch arms out more
  • arms too slow during Toshi, especially last one swinging upwards, keep it slower when above your head
  • pose with arms completely out
  • hands steady when doing Umi no hojo pose
  • Arms up is good
  • More lower body movement?

Fred’s playing is amazing because:

  • Fast Arm movements while having control when you stop
  • Legs move a lot
  • Impact of drums is very strong choregraphically by how he pauses
  • Toshi
